In the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, members of DeMolay Masonic Lodge No. 199 have distinguished themselves and honored the Lodge by being elected as the presiding officer of one or more Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of San Antonio in the Orient of Texas, as follows:
Illustrious Reese L. Harrison, Jr., 33°, was appointed Personal Representative to the Sovereign Grand Inspector General of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Texas and Chairman of the Executive Committee in the Valley of San Antonio on July 29, 2002, and continues to hold those offices. Larry Gene Wallis was elected to serve as Treasurer of the four San Antonio Scottish Rite Bodies on February 7, 2002, and continues to hold that office. James Arthur Rodriguez was appointed by the Sovereign Grand Inspector General of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Texas to be the Secretary, Recorder and Registrar of the four San Antonio Scottish Rite Bodies on August 6, 2002, and served to August 5, 2005. Gerald Franklin Nowotny was appointed to these offices on August 19, 2005, and continues to hold same. In the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, members of DeMolay Masonic Lodge No. 199 have distinguished themselves and honored the Lodge in the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry by being Coroneted with the 33° Inspector General Honorary and by receiving the rank and decoration of a Knight Commander of the Court of Honour (KCCH), as follows:
In the York Rite of Freemasonry, members of DeMolay Masonic Lodge No. 199 have distinguished themselves and honored the Lodge by being elected as the presiding officer of one or more York Rite Masonic Bodies, as follows:
In the York Rite of Freemasonry, members of DeMolay Masonic Lodge No. 199 have distinguished themselves and honored the Lodge by having received invitational membership in the Knight York Cross of Honour which is predicated on the recipient having presided over the four York Rite Bodies: the Symbolic Blue Lodge as Worshipful Master; the Royal Arch Chapter as Most Excellent High Priest; the Council of Royal and Select Masters as Thrice Illustrious Master; and the Commandery of Knights Templar as Eminent Commander, as follows:
In the York Rite of Freemasonry, members of DeMolay Masonic Lodge No. 199 have distinguished themselves and honored the Lodge by having received the Rank, Title and Privilege of an Associate Regent and the Order of the Purple Cross of York (OPC) in the York Rite College. Additionally, these Companion Knights have presided as Governor of a York Rite College. These Companion Knights are as follows:
Companion Knight Reese L. Harrison, Jr., was elected a Regent of the York Rite Sovereign College of North America in 1981 and received its second highest decoration of Knight Commander of the Purple Cross (KCPC) in 1998 and its highest decoration of Knight Grand Cross of York (KGC) in 1999. He is a Past Most Preemmiently Distinguished Governor-General of the Sovereign College for the Biennium 1998-2000. Companion Knight Gerald Franklin Nowotny is a Past Deputy Grand Governor of Texas York Colleges serving two bienniums from 2002-2006 and Companion Knight Everett Edward Williams is the present Deputy Grand Governor of Texas York Colleges for the biennium 2006-2008. In the Capitular Rite of York Masonry, Companion Reese L. Harrison, Jr. was awarded the Golden Keystone by the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas in October 2007. In the Cryptic Rite of York Masonry, Companion Gerald Franklin Nowotny was awarded the Royal Purple Service Award by the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Texas in December 2000. In the Chivalric Rite of York Masonry, Sir Knight Reese L. Harrison, Jr., was awarded Templary's second highest decoration, Knight Commander of the Temple (KCT) in 1992, and was awarded Templary's highest decoration, Knight Grand Cross of the Temple (KGC) in 1999. He received the Knight Templar Cross of Honor, the highest award of the Grand Encampment Knights Templar of the United States of America in 2001. In the Chivalric Rite of York Masonry, Sir Knight Gerald F. Nowotny received the Knight Templar Cross of Honor, the highest award of the Grand Encampment Knights Templar of the United States of America in 2006. |
